General Text Formatting Guidelines

All manuscripts submitted to the Biospectrum Horizons: A Journal of Life Science Research (JASLSRI) must adhere to the following formatting standards:

1. Font and Spacing: Times New Roman, 12-point, justified alignment, 1.15 line spacing throughout.
2. Page Layout: A4 size with 1-inch margins on all sides.
3. Section Titles: Bold, left-aligned, 12 pt.
4. Paragraphs: Consistent 0.5-inch indentation; avoid extra spacing.
5. Figures and Tables:
   • Number consecutively (Figure 1, Table 1).
   • Captions below figures and above tables (11 pt, italic).
   • Must be cited in the text.
6. Equations: Number sequentially and align right using an equation editor.
7. Units and Symbols: Use SI units consistently.

Manuscript Structure

1. Title Page: Title, author(s), affiliation(s), and corresponding author details.
2. Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
3. Keywords: 4–6 relevant keywords.
4. Introduction: Background, objectives, and significance.
5. Materials and Methods: Data sources and methodology.
6. Results and Discussion: Findings with interpretation.
7. Conclusion: Summary and future scope.
8. Acknowledgment: Funding and non-author contributions.
9. Conflict of Interest: Disclosure statement.
10. Author Contribution (Optional): CRediT taxonomy.
11. References: APA 7th Edition style.

• Single author: (Kumar, 2023)
• Two authors: (Kumar & Singh, 2023)
• Three or more authors: (Kumar et al., 2023)
